Boomering hired Aneeva to
establish a distribution network in Germany where its target market
is mainly enterprises whose traveling employees are paying very high
mobile roaming charges. After 6 weeks of researching the market, Aneeva
had pinpointed a BlackBerry System Integrator in Germany and set up
a crucial meeting at CeBit 2007. This initial meeting lead Boomering
to sign with the integrator and halt their search for additional partners
in Germany.
It quickly became
evident to Boomering that the new channel partner Aneeva had profiled
for them was the ideal model to repeat around the globe. They quickly
adjusted their worldwide target partner requirements to match the criteria
Aneeva had defined for Germany. Over the following months, considerable
time and effort was invested in testing Boomering's technology in Germany
and throroughly assessing the business potential. At the CeBit 2008
event, a subsidiary of the German channel partner and Boomering will
jointly present their cellular roaming solution.
Throughout the process,
communication between the channel partner and Boomering was done hand
in hand with Aneeva. Aneeva ensured that the technical pilot was well
prepared and correctly completed. It verified that the commercial case
was built to meet the specific expectations of the German market. A
Memorandum of Understanding, calling for the channel partner to become
the master distributor in Germany, has already been signed, and Boomering
has already received its first orders from their new German partner.
Boomering anticipates
Aneeva's continued assistance with the German channel partner during
the following business phase and has welcomed Aneeva to help them expand
business coverage in other European countries.
